Who we are

What we process and why

• Business outreach: we email businesses in industry and healthcare, including in the US and the UK, about licensing their records through Phasing. We use business name, your name, role and business email address, taken from public sources such as company registers, directories and company websites. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in offering a relevant commercial service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR and UK GDPR). You can opt out at any time.
• Contact form: name, company, email and what you tell us, used to answer your request and prepare an offer. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)), or our legitimate interest.
• Data owners' files: files a company shares with us are processed only under the NDA and licence agreed with that company. Personal and confidential information is removed before any buyer sees the data. Retention and deletion of these files follow that agreement.
• Website: our hosting provider records basic visitor statistics. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address.

Who processes data for us

Supabase (database), Lovable (website hosting and email) and Google (fonts). Each processes data only on our instructions.

Transfers outside the EU and UK

We are based in the US. Transfers of personal data from the EU or UK to the US rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK Addendum, or on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the recipient is certified.

How long we keep data

Only as long as needed for the purposes above. If you opt out, we keep your email address and company domain on a suppression list so that we do not contact you again.

Your rights

You can ask for access, correction or deletion of your data, object to its processing, and complain to your data protection authority. To stop emails, reply STOP or use the unsubscribe link in any of our emails. For anything else, write to marisa@phasing.ai.
